DeSoto Translations understands the importance of confidentiality in regards to your project and personal information, and will uphold the highest professional and ethical standards to make sure the content of your project and interpreting appointments remain private.

Do you offer certified translations?
DeSoto Translations offers comprehensive services for translation and certification of various documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees and so on. For an additional fee we can also notarize the documents to ensure acceptance by government and university representatives.
Not all documents are required to be certified. This list consists of mostly of personal documents such as all sorts of certificates, school and college diplomas and transcripts and all sorts of legal documentation that belong to individuals, not organization. These certified translations are usually requested by government agencies and universities. Our company complies with the current US rules and is eligible to offer document translation and certification services. There are regular and urgent delivery times available. Each translation is shipped by either UPS or FedEx.

Do you offer free translations?
DeSoto Translations has links on its website that will direct you to resources that provide free translations. Once added to the site, visitors need only to hover their mouse over the button. Visitors select a language from the list, then choose from a number of popular translators (including Babel Fish, Google, WorldLingo, Kwintessential, SDL, Live Translator, Promt, and InterTran). After selecting the translator, the page refreshes, translated into their language of preference with their translator of choice. Be aware that these resources are not 100% accurate, as a matter of fact they are only 60%-70% accurate and we do not advise you use these resources for more than a few sentences at a time or for brief translation needs. 

Do you offer live interpretation services?
DeSoto Translations offers high quality interpreting services in addition to our professional translation services 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We only use qualified linguists for our face to face interpreting services, which means that you can be certain they will be of the very highest quality. Our representatives can provide interpreting services for business conferences,court and legal proceedings, hospitals, medical appointments, over the phone, sign language, or for any other situation which may arise. DeSoto Translations provides two different types of interpreting services you can choose from to best suit your needs: over the phone or on-site consecutive interpreting.

How do I get my project translated?
Our work process can be detailed in five simple steps:
1. Fill out our free quote request form and upload your documents.
2. Receive a project estimate and approximate completion date by email.
3. Send payment.
4. You will receive project updates by email.
5. Download the translations and your sales receipt.

How do I become a DeSoto Representative?

How do I send you my documents for translation?
Hard copies of documents may be mailed to us or dropped off in person at our Fort Wayne offices.
We also accept a number of digital file formats which can be sent electronically via email or through our free quote request form. 

How is the price of a translation calculated?
The price of each translation project depends on many factors, including the type of document translation (website, personal correspondence, legal manual, medical document), the length of the text to be translated, whether or not notary services/certification is required, your completion date, how many translations are required and which languages you need your project translated into or from.
